Conditions We Help With
Do you treat back pain and neck pain?
Yes. Back pain and neck pain are among the most common reasons patients visit our clinic. Chiropractic care, massage therapy, and acupuncture may all help with pain relief, mobility, muscle tension, and recovery, depending on your condition.
Can you help with headaches or migraines?
Different headaches respond to different treatments, but reducing muscle tension and improving alignment and posture are two of the most important things to work on when looking for headache relief. All of our practitioners are skilled at treating headaches.
Do you treat sports injuries?
We see many sports injuries in the clinic, ranging from ankle sprains to shoulder separations and everything in between. If you have questions about a specific condition feel free to call or email to see if our practitioners have experience with it.
Can you help with posture-related or desk-job pain?
This is one of the most common issues people present to the clinic with. We are extremely skilled at helping manage posture and repetitive strain injuries, and can help give you techniques to avoid these issues on your own moving forward.
Do you treat acute (recent) injuries?
Yes! Many people delay seeking treatment because they think it is “too soon” or they are “too acute” for treatment to be effective. We have many techniques to minimize pain and speed healing starting immediately. The priority after any injury should be to make a recovery plan, and this should be done as soon as possible after an injury, so don’t delay, and come get your plan today.
Do you treat long-term or recurring conditions?
Yes. We treat long term conditions with both the goals of pain relief, as well as finding a way to prevent the next episode. This looks different for various conditions, but you should be confident we can help you live a pain free and active life, no matter what chronic conditions you are dealing with.
Do you treat sciatica or nerve pain?
This is a common condition presenting to our clinic. Our chiropractors in particular are exceptionally skilled at treating sciatica as well as other types of nerve pain. An accurate diagnosis performed by a chiropractor can help formulate the best treatment plan for your recovery.
Can you help with joint stiffness or limited mobility?
This is bread and butter for chiropractors and massage therapists. We focus on improving range of motion and reducing muscle tension so that you can move pain free in all the activities that are important to you.
Do you treat stress-related muscle tension?
Yes. Acupuncture and massage therapy are amazing for reducing stress, and chiropractic can help mitigate the tension that builds in your body as a result of this stress. When you have mental or emotional stress it leads to patterns of tension in your body, which creates a feedback loop that increases your stress even more. Its important to break that loop and prevent the compounding effect between our brain and body.
Can treatment help with sleep issues?
Over half of chiropractic patients report improved sleep, often after the first adjustment. Chiropractic and massage therapy can help with mechanical issues affecting sleep, such as back and shoulder pain, and acupuncture can help regulate the nervous system and restore proper equilibrium in your body, leading to better sleep.

Acupuncture & TCM FAQs
How does acupuncture work?
Human bodies are complex. In TCM, we consider the body to be a complex web of interconnecting and crossing channels. Health problems occur when there is an imbalance within these channels, causing a blockage that is often felt as pain. In acupuncture, specific points are chosen to help the body recognize this blockage, in order to regain its natural balance and circulation.
What can acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine help with?
Acupuncture enhances recuperative power and immunity to promote natural healing. It also improves physical and emotional health and overall well being. It can help relieve a wide variety of ailments, including but not limited to:
- Back pain
- Neck pain
- Sciatica
- Headaches and migraines
- Sports injuries
- Stress and tension
- Anxiety-related symptoms
- Sleep concerns
- Digestive concerns
- Hormonal balance
- Menopause-related symptoms
- Prenatal and pregnancy-related discomfort
- Postnatal recovery support
- infertility
- General wellness and relaxation
You can also book a no-cost acupuncture consultation to discuss your symptoms, treatment options, and whether acupuncture may be appropriate for your concern.
Do you always use needles during acupuncture appointments?
Not necessarily. While acupuncture often involves the use of very fine needles, your treatment may also include other Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques such as cupping, ear seeds, red light therapy, and herbal medicine recommendations, depending on your needs and comfort level.

Reiki FAQs
Will I feel “fixed” after one session?
Reiki isn’t about fixing something broken—it’s about helping you uncover the balance and wholeness that’s already inside you. Many people feel lighter or more relaxed after just one session, but lasting change often takes time and consistency.
Think of it like going to the gym: one workout feels great, but regular sessions build lasting strength and resilience.
Can Reiki help with physical pain or emotional issues?
Yes! Reiki is incredibly versatile. It’s not a cure-all, but it can help reduce physical pain, ease emotional stress, and bring a sense of calm and clarity. Clients have reported relief from chronic pain, better sleep, reduced anxiety, and even breakthroughs in emotional healing.
Is Reiki safe for everyone?
Absolutely! Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice that’s safe for all ages (even pets). It works alongside other treatments or therapies, making it a great complement to your existing wellness routine.
Important to note: Reiki Energy Healing is not a substitute for medical advice, a diagnosis, or medical treatment. Keri’s sessions are a complementary practice designed to support and enhance your already existing healthcare or wellness plan from your medical doctor or practitioner.
How frequently should I come back for more sessions?
Healing is a journey, not a one-time event. Think of Reiki like untangling a set of earbuds left in your bag—it takes time to work through the knots. While one session might bring relief, deeper healing and new found clarity can unfold over time.
Studies show Reiki works best after three or more sessions because healing happens in layers. The first session relaxes and resets your body, the second peels back emotional or energetic blocks, and by the third, you’re clearing obstacles you didn’t even realize were holding you back.
For lasting benefits, consider bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly “tune-up” sessions to maintain balance and flow. That’s why Keri offers a 3-session package—to make it easier to commit to your healing journey, with an opportunity to experience the incredible value of receiving Reiki consistently while saving a few dollars.
Is Reiki Energy Healing covered by my workplace benefits?
It might be! You will be required to pay for your Reiki service on the day of your session, however many workplaces now include Reiki under their “Health & Wellbeing Spending Accounts” or similar wellness benefits.Check with your company’s benefits provider or HR department to see if energy healing services like Reiki are eligible for reimbursement. Lonsdale Wellness Studio will email you your copy of the Reiki Service receipt that might support your claim for reimbursement. It’s worth asking—your healing journey could be covered!
*IMPORTANT REMINDER*:
Reiki Energy Healing is not a substitute or replacement for medical advice, a diagnosis, or medical treatment. Keri’s sessions are a complementary practice designed to support and enhance your already existing healthcare or wellness plan from your medical doctor or practitioner.
